    Why a traitor???

    he was NEVER going to get another megafight....

    his chin was destroyed by Trinidad/DLH/Mosley, and plus he's a street fighter...

    He might as well take his chances in MMA.

    (i doubt he'll have any chance but who knows :lol:).

    Because MMA sucks, that's why.

    He could still operate in a Zab Judah style role.

    Still a name, good to have on your record, a test and a trash-talker who can sell a fight.

    Boxing needs characters like him, even if he's not at the top anymore, I don't want him to go to MMA.

    ahhh man I wish a prime boxer with skills would go into mma and beat some ass. mayorgas too past it and on top opf that he was never super skilled guy to succeed in mma.

    Mayorga will probably be more adaptable to mma. He's not a particularly skilled boxer, he's a wild street brawler and that will probably suit him in MMA.

    he is shot fighter, no discipline outside the gym and he is finished in boxing and in MMA he will go nowhere, he just will not do the work.

    guys its not his fault... its kings, king isnt getting him any fights thats why mayorga sued him, he needs to make money too, this is his job and if hes not fighting in boxing then im sure he will find other avanues to bring in cash


    that being said this ****ing guts me..... wtf.. MM ****in' A.... damn shame.

    he is not world class any more, that means no HBO, HBO PPV or Showtime TV dates, which means big money fights, He could get fights in a heart beat if was ready to fight on Espn or one of the spainish networks, but there is no money in that. MMA is stupid getting Mayorga, he is finished and he will except money there not going to be paying.
