Please please just think about how much harder and faster he'll punch then MMA fighers. They better take him down on the first lunge or it will be over quickly.

Wow, I just read Nick Diaz has signed a pro boxing promotional contract (in conjunction with his Strikeforce commitments)...maybe after they both carve out parallel niches as sport-jumpers he and Ricardo can meet in a superfight under sweet science rules...imagine that. :p

:yep I'm looking forward to seeing mincemeat made of him, sort of makes up for the fact that my boy Ricardo's going to get his arm broke. :good

you don't really know much about MMA do you? i agree that retired boxers since they already has "boxing" in their arsenal but that doesn't give them automatic success in this sport by just teaching them a little bit of something. yes, a lot of them are weak with the hands ( as you like to put it ). but IMO they're like that because of their style of fighting, MMA fighters doesnt have to be at a "champion-level-boxing" if they're forte is ground-and-pound, they'll most likely develop their shoot-wrestling more first. it would help them to learn or improve their boxing but only to some extent. once you get caught in a clinch, your boxing will most likely fail to save you..

IMO its more of he better catch them with a big punch or they'll dismatle the **** out of his legs when they give them those kicks..
