Yori Boy won't lay down like Medina, that's for sure.

Bear in mind, almost none of his nine stoppage losses were real knockouts. You have to go back to his loss to Felix Trinidad over two decades ago to find a case where he was legitimately helpless under fire. (and even there he wasn't knocked out cold or even off his feet)


Lopez Vargas, Carr - those were corner retirements. Santos - cut stoppage. DLH - towel job (while he was still exchanging fire with Oscar). Asikainen - waved off by the Finnish ref while standing. Roman - injured right hand. Cota (who boasts a crazy high KO %) - ref stoppage, again.


His ability to hang around, eat a few bomb salvos and still be standing there - not to mention his body punching - might cause El Matador problems and test his conditioning.
