Why is that? Mayorga was a huge welterweight with a granite chin, big power, and respectable stamina. He beat a couple of capable fighters at that weight. Hatton on the other hand, never looked good in that particular weight class, matter of fact, he arguably should have lost both times he fought in the division. From a stylistic point of view, I think Mayorga would be all wrong for Hatton. I certainly couldn't see Hatton getting the better of a brawl. Though, I could see him having success in a boxing match, but I feel that would be short lived. Mayorga was so unorthodox and threw punches from such weird angles, that I feel he would have caught Hatton somewhere along the way and knocked him clean out.
