Forcibly? Anyway, DLH was just tired, and wanted to take a nap. Hopkins unsportingly hit him as he began to lie down, and DLH napped innocently. How could he know the corrupt ref would see that as a knockdown?
This is completely normal. I also want to fight mayweather $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Unfortunate;y mayorga is in a position were he can say things like this and I am sitting at home Come on guys, grow up and use your brains. You would do the same
Sure...but practically speaking, your chance of fighting Mayweather is not considerably worse than Mayorga's...His is 1/1,000,000 and yours is 1/10,000,000...say, on a back of an ESB campaign that would have PBF fight an allcomer for charity...so...practically speaking, both are 0...
Mayorga and Vernon Forrest III is a fight people will want to see and the one Mayorga will likely get. Vernon will beat him and then maybe should take on Winky and move up to the middleweight championship. All the middle weights seem to be moving up to super middle/light heavy.
There are very few styles that can beat Floyd. Pressure has given him his toughest challenges but there are very few that offer an intelligent and fast aggression. DLH did well and almost beat Floyd but he wasnt' able to continue his aggression over 12 rounds. JLC was close to winning with pure relentless agression but Floyd wasn't 100% and what you witnessed on Saturday was a very aggressive and young champion against a very talented and higly skilled future hall of famer. But Hatton wasn't intelligent in the ring....he was very aggressive and rough but Floyd is cool, calm and composed. He wasn't rattled at all by the rough house tatics Hatton tried to implement and it worked against him.
Hatton also isn't Mayorga... I don't know how many people recognized how tough Mayorga was against Forrest. The problem is that Trinidad broke him mentally. If Mayorga stayed at 147, he would've been a terror. I am not saying he's beat Mayweather. Hell, maybe he'd get knocked out, BUT he also may have the best chance of anyone to knock Mayweather out. Don't call it crazy and stupid...Mayorga is SO wild, SO strong, and SO fearless, that it's certainly not something Mayweather has seen. Besides, from a boxing standpoint, Mayorga throws punches from multiple angles with power on all of them. All I am saying is...for me...between the press conference and the fight, I'd pay to watch it. I'd pay to watch Mayorga anytime, because with him, anything can happen.
I agree....but only born to loose when it comes to things that are not about boxing or sports.....Lets say for instance "Drinking" and/or "Smoking" Mayo kicks Floyds ass all day.
Damn Right! 24/7 with Mayo and anyone would be worth the price of the PPV event! I like the fight but I just can't see Mayo winning. But I've seen bigger upsets and the type of people both men are fireworks are inevitable. I like the fight but I don't think Floyd would take it unless they can give him $20Mill
Good comparison. Almost perfect, with the smoke hanging out of Mayo's mouth. Nicely done. He'll moider Floyd, just moider him, I tell ya.
I don't think what you are saying is stupid at all. In boxing anything can happen, but its the "Likelihood" of this conclusion of Mayo winning by KO that is hard to accept. Mayo has the power...but he's not very skilled, he's very wide with his punches and he's reckless. Floyd on the other hand is cool, calm and composed. A reckless style like Mayo may give him some difficulty at first, just like DLH, Judah and Hatton were able to give Floyd problems early on. But once Floyd settles and figures out his timing and distance it's all over. That usually takes 3 rounds then it's a schooling. I'd pay to see the fight just to see what would happen but at the end of the day I already know the outcome. IT will be a "W" for Floyd....how the W comes is a differnt question.
Actually a Roy Jones vs B-Hop fight would have some funny ass quotes. But the best ever would be James Toney vs Jones or Hopkins right now :rofl
