Pretty clear this Panameño is a glass cannon (like his famous older brother, also named Ricardo Núñez but nicknamed "El Matematico"), but when he's "on" he is simply frightening. Hits like a damn middleweight and can box nicely too. If he keeps up that nice a balance of defense and offense he can put a lot of lights out at 130lbs.

Kind of sad that Ammeth Díaz appears to be done. He was a decent spoiler at welter and light welter for quite a long time. He is now 0-3 since he sparked Martin Gethin in a mild upset in the UK in 2013, which in hindsight is really bittersweet as that was an IBF title eliminator and he never ended up getting his shot before embarking on this losing streak. (though in fairness, it made him mandatory to Miguel Vázquez, who shut Díaz out in previous challenge for the IBF title in 2012. Nobody really wanted to see the rematch, nor would the outcome have been in much doubt..)

I wasn't particularly impressed by Durán - he just luckily caught the sixteen-year veteran at the end of his run. I feel like he might have been iced just a few years ago when Díaz was sharper. Very sloppy, no pop, and still appeared stung a few times.
