Ricardo Sandoval's match with Jerson Ortiz on the Nery-Crazy A undercard is ridiculous

This whole card is taken on trust No idea if Nery will make weight, but if he does I hope Azat KOs him, but what on earth is Ricardo Sandoval doing on the undercard? He's matching Jerson Ortiz, who has won just one of his last five fights, including an absurd DQ loss to Cristofer Rosales in a miserable, foul-fuelled contest that ended in chaos.

There's no rhyme or reason to it, can't make sense of it at all. Also on the undercard is Shane Mosley Jr and the mighty Rowdy Legend Montgomery. Something very weird is afoot I reckon.

Sandoval lost to David Jiminez last summer but it was really close, could easily have been a draw, he should be looking for something better than this mess. It's not a stay busy, either, he hasn't been out since. Booooo!

 

With those dudes coming up though, standard fare, but the Sandoval fight is absurd, it's just silly. I can't actually figure out wtf is going on with Jerson, he's obviously connected but i'm not sure how. He doesn't even have those WBC connects, he's not on any on-ramps, but this is the second significant figure in the wider division he's been matched with despite the fact that the first one was horrible. I mean awful in every conceivable way.

Hopefully, American tv protects the fighters from any total madness but this is some strange, strange fruit.

Good. Good if it is cancelled, that's why I started this thread, I wanted this fight pulled from the card.
