I bet you he fights Maligaggi no way he fights Torres just too dangerous for a comeback fight. Just a lot of Hype I bet he fights Malinaggi.

Torres is very dangerous, but he's 1 dimensional

Paulie is slick but that's about it, lacks pop

    Witter is a sterner test

I would love to see Hatton fight Witter at some point but untill then Malignaggi would be a very decent opponent. He is not as bad as people are currently making out and the event would be very well recieved stateside.

A match up vs Torres would be entertaining and for a valid belt.

Has the possibilty of Ree's been the opponent been dispelled yet? Hatton is in a different class but it would be a good warm up after his defeat, just to get him into a winning mode again and it would be easy to put on in England.

Juan Diaz would be better than anyone but I am not sure it will come off. Diaz seems happy at Lightweight for a couple more fights but it would get the American tv bosses salivating and good money offers would tempt both guys.

I do not know too many less obvious names who are looking for a fight at that time but maybe Kendall Holt who still fights a good game and is American may pop up at some point. Kotelink would be very unlikely but decent opposition to get Hatton back into winning ways, not very marketable though.

I can not see too many Brit fighters evan being considered for the postion but Ajose is well placed by the WBC and will fight anyone anytime.

    What odds Zahir Raheem?

To be honest the list can only ever be of the four choice fighters (excluding Witter) and any of those guys would be good to watch.

Torres is not that bad, not nearly as bad as most of the guys Ricky handpicked...so it's an acceptable fight.
He's still running from Witter though, and has been for a long time.

Torres is definitely a harder test than Paulie, and is about the same level of risk as a Witter fight.

You wait and see, Hatton - Witter in November 2008, followed by either Hatton - Cotto or Hatton - De La Hoya.

Hatton retires 45-2, 3x 2 weight world champion. bank on it.

Coz he doesn't like him and he wants to watch him squirm and beg for a bit longer.

Yeah, coz the guy who fought Kostya Tszyu and Floyd Mayweather, the best two 140-147lbers of the last 20 years, is running scared of Junior Witter.

Lets face it, Junior Witter is a much more dangerous fight than Mayweather. Ricky is gonna have to make a step up to face witter.

normally when a boxer doesn't like another boxer he wants to fight him even more to beat him up and shut his mouth, just like mayweather did when hatton started talking crap about him.
