tought fight, much tougher than 'marshmallow man' mallignaggi would be,would be great to see hatton-torres in may leading to the inevitable hatton-witter around september.

People think that Witter - Hatton isn't going to happen. It will. Just when Hatton wants it, not when Witter demands it. He's gonna make Witter squirm.

anyone who thinks hatton is scared of Witter, after going up against Mayweather, is clearly an idiot.

Would be a good lil scrap, but I see Hatton winning by KO.

:good Got your ticket for chelsea yet. Apparently there was a show on Channel M called secondsout and witter said the fight may happen, later this year or early next year.

It's not about being scared it's about Hatton knowing he would lose his already spurious marquee status should Witter beat who would stylistically be a tough fight for him & could at the very least make him look bad. I actually think Hatton would win the fight but I'm not sure he's confident so would prefer to avoid him & fight people he would beat Torres, Paulie etc or fighters he's not expected to beat PBF, DLH so if he loses he can say he lost to the best.

Anyone who puts Hatton and Cotto in the same leve is plain ******ed.
Cotto is a great fighter and a future ATG.
Hatton is just an overweight midget who cant step it up to WW without being pounded from post to post. Ha

Very true, but hatton unlike cotto is very comfortable at the weight and it might be easier for hatton than it was for a weight drained cotto.

it was mighty mike who got laid out like a pancake last year. torres is one of the better title holders at 140, much better than someone like rees. torres is a come forward brawler, who lives by his punch. he ko'ed holt, and had cotto in the most trouble in his career. i consider this a good fight for hatton to take, since torres style plays into hatton's and makes him look good. however, this wont be a walk in the park as torres can knock hatton the **** out if given the chance. hatton won't smother his punches like tzyu's, as torres throws short hard shots and does a majority of work up close. hatton would probably be too strong inside clinches and does what he does in there. respectable fight for him too take and a good test, unlike some of the proposed opponents being thrown around. it would'nt be unwise to put some $ on torres if odds were good.

Hahaha, not yet, but I'm going with or without ticket.

The fight will happen, I just think Hatton wants to test himself against someone else first. I dont think thats unreasonable considering he just lost for the first time in his career.

Ricardo Torres is a hard fight, especially coming straight off a loss. People need to get some perspective and stop hating.
