When you're fighting an opponent like Torres who has speed and power . . . a K.O. or T/KO is a live posibility.

Yeah Urango has never been knocked out . . . but there's always a first time for everything. :deal

What speed? His best fight was with a drained Cotto. If he beats his rubbermatch it may happen, but what if he loses?

What speed? Didn't he showed speed against Kendal Holt? The guy has 82.35% K.O. dude wake up! Cotto is Cotto . . . and you can't use that pull down Torres.

I made a thread on this before cuz I think its a very interesting fight, pretty much 50/50 and im sure it'll end in a ko. I would go with Torres though. Urango's last ko was brutal though

Wake up, I did not say anything about his KO power. I just questioned his speed. I pulling him down, he and his entourage did that already with the fiasco in there country with the beer cans and oh, trying to pull him down from one leg. If I were Torres and reviewed the tape, I would have taken a no-contest. The only speed I saw is Torres getting KTFO.

I can't blame you if you are that limited.

Let me educate you . . . Torres beat Kendal Holt by TKO in the 11th round in a closely contested fight in their first fight. You fight Kendal Holt toe to toe in his own game means you have speed because Holt has a very good speed.

Now you watched that tape and review it . . . instead of you watching his team with their beer cans. :deal

    :hi:

Nasser Athumani had Urango on ***** street in the first round of their fight last year on ESPN2. He also was wobbled by Andre Eason, though he knocked Eason silly seconds later.

If the fight materialized in the near future, I'd favor Urango by KO. Torres' KO loss to Holt may have stemmed from a headbutt, but either way, I think the damage has been done and I don't think he'll fully recover from such a brutal knockout. It's not like he had the best whiskers to begin with.

I will watch it. This is just my opinion. I love when some of you posters attack each other for minute reasons. I know all about the stoppage, but all that happened in between was outragous. I am confusing what you meant about speed. When I talk about speed, it is PBF, Mosley, or Berto speed. I am wrong to catigorize him or Holt on that level.

Torres does infact hit harder than Urango. Well rounded not sure, both appear to be as equally versatile

I agree, the difference is marginal. Everytime i watch Torres fight I'm astounded by his power.
My power rankings at 140 are:
    Torres
    Urango
    Hatton
    Ortiz
    Holt
    Bradley
