you're overating cotto at 140 and underating hatton big time, hattons only loss came from the p4p #1 at 147. he's bnever looked like losing at 140.

Hatton has not looked great latley but a prime Hatton made his liveing off of wild hard changeing punchers like Torres.

I think Torres if he beats holt will for sure be deserveing of a shot (been saying so since his loss to cotto)

I'd still take a slightly faded Hatton over Torres by UD.

Torres takes it. Torres is actually a pretty decent boxer and he has explosive power, but the most important thing is Torres hand speed. Torres isnt Kostya who can only land a big punch from the outside, Torres left hook and overhand right can catch you up close.

Cotto took out a number of fighters that were not only dangerous at 140, but regarded as unbreakable...

Hatton recently fought Urango and nearly lost

Urango fought Cotto and nearly cried...

Hatton has a bloated record from fighting in Wales...and his only true testament to his "greatness" is KO a fading Tszyu

im not saying or hating on Ricky, i think he's a great fighter and a TRULY great boxer to watch...but im just saying...he doesnt got what it takes to beat Torres...

I think Paulie has a better shot...but lacks the power to keep Torres at bay...so he'd get murdered as well...but the skill is certainly there

boxing is alot more than numbers. take a look at each guys resume and WHO tasted the canvas.

both are big punchers but Tszyu was a much cleaner, better technical puncher.

no doubt! i agree with you...but Tsyzu wastes his time trying to aim those punches whereas Torres DGAF and throws bombs knowing that ONE of those punches will daze you, which is might theory as to why he has a better KO rate

Torres in a way...is a VERY polished Mayorga without the **** talking mouth that cant cash checks

seeing as how Mayorga beat Forest by suffocating him with devastating shots...Torres does the same thing with his opponents in a much smarter fashion...im not saying he's technically gifted but he cuts up the ring quite well and applies unforgiving pressure that MOST boxers cant survive

lol, and look at the fights they have both had. in that case bredis prescott is a bigger banger than them both because his ko ratio is 90%, but it doesn't work like that. koysta was undisputed champ not a belt holder. just look at what he did to judah.

you clearly didn't watch the fight becuase it wasn't even close to a loss against urango, he won 10 rounds. and as far as i was aware cotto hasn't fought urango?

Actually there should be some kind of prize for the number of factual errors VARG managed to pack into that one post...

I want to make it clear that im a huge fan of ricardo Torres's I would like nothing more than for a very exciteing fighter like him to take over the division once hatton is done but I just cant see him comming out on top against the Hitman...

That doesn't make it any better, Hatton pasted Maussa.
