He is on celebrity rehab, what is his addiction? My guess is steroids, but I can't say for certain. MMA fighters can't do very well if they are doing drugs or drinking like crazy can they?
Steroids? You look at that body and think "steroids"? Really? Its cocaine. Some athletes, not just fighters either, can basically be complete drug addicts and still compete at a high level, Mark Kerr was a full on, need to have it every few hours or physical withdrawls will start, opiate addict, and was also into benzodiazapines heavily, and during this time he was considered the #1 fighter in the world. He was definatly the most feared fighter. Ironically during "The Smashing Machine" a documentary about Kerr, Ricco shows up late to a sparring session after staying out too late partying, bit of foreshadowing I guess.
He actually looked worlds better after he got out, in his fight with Antonio Silva, a fight he could have easily gotten the decision.
