If this is what they want to throw at Rich, he needs to get to 205, ASAP.

You're either a troll or ******ed. Either way, their are much bigger fights for Franklin and much smaller ones for Grove. Grove is still on the hotseat and if he gets ktfo again soon he'll be out. Tanner was just a punching bag last night and it doesn't mean much that Grove pounded him.

Grove would be a lamb to the slaughter. People need not forget that Franklin is by far the closest rated under Silva. It just so happens Silva will punch Franklin's card 10/10. Grove would get hurt bad.

Franklin would do Grove like he did Nate Quarry.

Kendall Grove looked stunned last night by a winging, wild punch from Evan "I Have No Stand-up" Tanner. Franklin would knock him out cold in about 3 minutes.

I'd agree with that except Grove is 5" taller, therefore he would win.
I think the most precise analysis would have Grove winning 5 fights out of 6 with Franklin.
Franklin could have the bones in his legs broken and elongated, then he might win.
Rich could also wear platform boots if he wants to even up this match-up a bit. Also wear dark colors and vertical stripes.

franklin did something groves couldnt and that was finish tanner(twice)......you must be the biggest grove fan on here....yeah he did look gook against tanner but would get owned by pretty much anybody else in that weight class(hendo,bisping,silva,marquart....the list could go on and on)

Im surprised not one mentioned that Tanner is SHOT and should retire before he truly gets hurt. At times it was scary, it seems that he was out of it on his feet. I actually feel very sad for Tanner

He was NEVER out on his feet. He was stunned in the second, but recovered. It was a split decision (albeit somewhat controversial), and I scored it 29-28 Grove.

Tanner WON the third round on my card - he was by far landing better strikes as Grove appeared gassed and looking for the finish line. Otherwise, in the first two rounds, Grove performed admirably.

The reason he should retire is that today's Middleweights are bigger and more versatile. And I don't think Tanner could cut down to 170, so, there is just too much at Middleweight for Tanner.

Sad situation, I really liked Tanner (his fights with Baroni and Lawler were classic :bbb ).
