Abril won the fight. Rios got the decision, but Abril clearly was the winner that evening.:deal

He punked Rios in the pre fight press conference, and schooled him in the ring with a smile on his face. He hit Rios far more often than Bam Bam hit him, and absorbed the few punches that Bam Bam landed with a smile on his face.

You may not like the way he fought that night, but Bam Bam did just as much holding and mauling as Abril. The only difference was that he forgot to land clean punches.

In any alternate universe where reality holds the slightest bit of sway, Abril wins that fight by scores of 10-2 (or even wider). But in this world, it's just the worst robbery we'll see this year.

Alright, let's say for all intents and purposes, Abril was robbed and definitely deserved to win.

    Then what?

Not the biggest Rios fan here, but he sure lit up California that night. And he's beaten a contender at 140.

    What's Abril's next fight?

Abril boxed brilliantly, I can't believe people say he didn't deserve the victory because he spoiled, the only thing he spoiled was the expected demolishing he was supposed to receive, I had him 120-108, if I try to give Rios rounds I can't get closer than 118-110.

    Well there's this.
And this, you really got this one wrong.
    Then this.
    And this again.
    Which really contradicts this.
Which again is contradicted by this post some months later and the other quotes about beating a cowering Ortiz.
I just used the post history like you suggested, and you are right in that it wasn't you who gave me **** about the Rios av, Cormega was the guy, and the other person I must have confused with you was DrX. My bad there, but I did find those ^ that suggest you haven't been big on Rios besides the Abril fight.

You guys go overboard with holding fights that people didn't perform well in or may have loss. This sort of thing is annoying, that fight is long and gone, for whatever Rios does in the future, will you continue to mention this guy randomly as a hit against him, although he is striving for victories that will far surprise that loss?

not fair home boy i had to choose between my boy ortiz or rios.... those are all rios/ortiz related posts, and one alvarado one but my heart chose alvarado..

I chose the heartless side with a big WW ortiz instead of going for the LW iron chin...'

and that was when Ortiz has whoooped berto... Now, I pick Rios to win that fight at WW if you see my post history I changed my mind but you probably saw that post as it was very recent.

I did, and it's no big deal homey, folks flip flop all the time even if they don't or wont admit it. I've watched the Pac/Bradley fight numerous times now, and I've had Pac winning 115-113, I had it a draw and 115-113 Bradley and I posted my score each time.

And then because that will just be one bias old man's opinion, and records will state otherwise they'll say in return "Sure you did Grandpa :tired"
