His footwork and control of distance is clumsy, he’s all about the big right hand, which he throws as a single shot, falls in and clinches...ref pulls them apart and he resets and does the same straight right hand again. He’s very limited, Sam Hyde will still no doubt be kicking himself, as will Billam-Smith.
He has three good wins at domestic level and he has genuinely won all those fights. He has lots to learn and is very raw. When you look at whether he could ever beat anyone in the world top 10. No. Possibly European Level if he can improve as he goes and that power can be utilised. He barely has any amateur career so he has done really well just to reach the level he is at now.
no but i think he might compete and get a shot somewhere if he isnt thrown to Okolie his size and power will take him far. I actually think when he does lose at cruiser he will move up to heavy as he has the size and power and i think he will actually fair better providing he can take a shot.
I can definitely see him challenging for a world title in a couple of years, probably away from home and coming up short on the cards our domestic scene at cruiser is a pretty good standard so those fights with Hyde and billam Smith were always going to be close
If I had to guess he's someone who could be manoeuvred into a challenge, with careful matchmaking and a lot of work as @Aydamn says. That's not saying all that much however, given the hunger for easy defences that we've all experienced.
Not for me. Good fighter who carries power but don't see him making waves at World Level.... IF he even gets there.
