Well if Schaefer says it's over 100,000, it will more likely be significantly under that.

ouch... well over (read under) 100K buys, and you can be sure the next fight of the 2 is well over (read under) the real figure after the stinker they produced.

I wonder how much Shane was promished with this one, beacause the part Mora takes, the undercard (with a few names), the promoter and the network there's not much left if you ask me... How did the gate do?

Mosley is the cash cow. His drawing power is amazing.

lol @ those who said PBF v Mosley was a flop. Mosley has never been a draw and this all but confirmed he lack of drawing power. Why they put this on PPV in the first place I have no idea!!!

Never believe Schaefer when it comes to PPV numbers. Just like when he stated that JMM-Mayweather did 1.4 million or something. HBO tax returns for that year showed it was significantly less than that.

HBO was manipulating their numbers to make their fighters look marketable.

100k is still $4.5million, so while not great everyone gets a decent payday

Is that revenue becuase I doubt it will translate in to a big payday for the fighters. HBO has to take their cut first and the fighters have to pay mangers, trainers etc before they can take their slice.

When PPV was created there were fights people wanted to see so the promoters got them to pay for them, now there's fights they want you to pay for and the promoters have to get you to beleive you want to see them.

That stinker had to bomb. The main event was meaningless. At least Hopkins vs Jones II was 2 ring legends facing off in a rematch. This was a past his prime hall of famer coming off a beating and facing a C+ level fighter with hardly a name.

The undercard was probably the only reason anyone bought this disgrace of a ppv.

Shane made 1 Mil regardless of the numbers, it was prenegotiated, plus he got an extra 57 grand because mora came in overweight.

I bet it hurts people's inner ******* region that this CARD even made a dime.
But it's OK, Just remember the golden rule to PPV....

If you put a LATIN fighter on the card, They will come.
