If its over 100k then it made a profit. Regardless of all the hate this was always a small PPV and the alternative would have been for most of these fighters to sit out the year.

With a ridiculously pointless main event and zero promotion & buzz, 100k+ is a pretty good number, but it should've never been on PPV. I bet the gate did better anyway, with Canelo it's was a sellout plus Mosley sold a lot of expensive tickets. Why on Earth was it on PPV?

It was PPV out of necessity not greed. It would have been a lot worse had HBO blown their budget on this card.

Ideally this should have been on regular cable, but that outlet doesn't exist.

Other than the main, it was a solid card. I enjoyed it.

We don't even know how much of the 100K the cholos on the undercard were responsible for, Young Mayweather has great RAW drawing powers.

13,500 at Staples is not a sell-out. They got 21,000 in the same building for Mosley vs Margarito, so drawing 13,500 is a decent number, but still not even close to selling it out.

Not really, HBO gets the first slice, then Golden Boy gets a chunk, followed by Trainers, managers, assistants, etc. getting paid and finally the fighters getting paid. So I wouldn't be surprised if Mosley didn't crack $1.25 million from this fight.

Also, Who the **** was saying that it wasn't Mayweather who was the drawing power? Mayweather-Mosley does 1.4 million, Mosley-Mora does 100K. Mayweather carried that **** solo.
