Not becuz he couldn't but cuz he chose not to. Leaving the door open for himself to jump shop n take those fighters (Al's fighters) wherever he went upon leaving. It's pretty sickening and bordering on illegal. You can expect lawsuits. Haymon dances around the Ali act as it is. The 2 of them are obvious conspirators. If you don't see that you are stupid.

like i said....they been doin business with floyd for 7 years without a contract.....real good business.......they broke records last year doing business the way schaefer conducted it.....

if schaefer is going to **** with al....and al isnt taking his fighters anywhere else....whats wrong with them doing things the way they were? it builds a good foundation of trust when you have a handshake/unwritten agreement with someone and you can trust them....

if schaefer says "well you kinda arent going anywhere else....we both like doing biz together.....but ummmm just cause i can...let me make you sign your guys over"...it can create tension.....

golden boy has like 70+ guys listed on their website as their fighters(yes all arent contractually bound)....TR has about half that.......do you think its good business to have 70 fighters signed to yearly/multi-fight deals?......that can create alot of problems........not having every guy signed and needing to get pushed creates flexibility.......

as i mentioned...broner for example...dont know if hes signed or not....but using him as an example...if hes signed to a 5 fight deal....he loses to maidana....then say he comes back and molina beats....or he gets by molina then his next fight gets knocked out.....then schaefer is forced to cram him down our throats and get him fights/dates because of commitment.....and guys like you wouldnt like it one bit "man no one wants to see broner again...hes a bum this is wack".....

like i said....this is a problem for oscar NOW....if he let schaefer do his job(that he was hired to do....keep that in mind)....there would be no issue/problem for oscar now......and by most accounts....schaefer was doing well with his model......schaefers been doing this for years man....and doing it very well.....

keep in mind man....the mark of an intelligent mind is two look at both sides of the coin while not accepting either as truth....and believe me i dont even take what i say as absolute truth....its just my opinion....but dont dismiss it entirely......the way i look at it.....its a business schaefer was hired to run....it didnt appear broke....but oscar wants to fix/change it.....

yer assuming that the child, floyd, is the only reason the parents stay together or got together in the first place(while maybe that may be the case for originally getting together...i can admit that).....yer assuming once floyd leaves the nest the parents will split up and are unhappy generally.....what if they are happy together? what if they want to remain married when floyd leaves?

do you think once floyd leaves, the one parent haymon, will suddenly decide he wants to become gay and no longer likes women(im digging a hole here...especially with haymon/tranny rumors lol.....but lets call women the game of boxing)....do you think after floyd leaves ...haymon will no longer have an interest in advising boxers?

companies hire "temps" all the time.....when they expect an increase in workload during a season where their industry thrives.....and when the heavy workload is done they can relieve them of duties without having to pay unemployment, without having to offer them insurance, and other things

companies also hire people for short contracts....6 months-8 months.....they can choose to renew the contract if needed/wanted....or the demand is still there for that job

what schaefer was doing may look sinister to some...and im not saying it isnt.....at the same time it could be beneficial overall to the company as well......less commitments....yet he can use a haymon fighter when he wants/needs to.....and he still knew al wasnt taking his fighters elsewhere......like i said there are like 70 fighters on the golden boy roster.....having them all signed to yearly/multi-fight deals could be a huge burden

oscar has always been a piece of ****. i think back to how he played francisco bojado. that kid was a serious prospect that graduated from the same high school as oscar. he signed with main events. oscar was trying to get him to leave for gbp. oscar has never understood the concept of a contract. when bojado declined oscar did all in his power to ruin bojado. floyd sr was training him at the time. oscar made floyd sr sign a contract that made him exclusive to dlh just a few weeks before bojados fight with jessie james leija. he also paid for leijas training expenses at big bear to ensure he beat bojado. go back and watch that fight. bojado was sitting in the corner looking like a lost puppy...all thanks to oscar.

oscar tried to lure pac into leaving toprank. gave him a suitcase filled with money while he was still under contract with toprank. no respect for bob...or contracts.

then there was victor ortiz. he was with top rank. oscar basically stole him too. gets the guy...and immediately throws him to the wolves. puts him in with maidana as the headliner under very short notice.

got guerrero to leave goosen tutor.

tried to lure donaire from top rank.

i seem to recall something with diego corrales and gary shaw...and how oscar was trying to steal him.
