I believe this. Mayweather still wants to fight in England. Khan is the highest profile Brit around those weights now.

I see the business sense behind it. 2011 will most likely be Floyd's last year of fighting. Young Mayweather is the only non-Brit that can sell out the UK, and Khan is their most popular fighter. It's very early for Khan to be sacrificed, but everyone makes stupid money in the process.

And fred roach dies from a heart attack after Floyd beats up emmanuel and then Khan.

If he had a good chin, I wouldn't see them caring to risk him like this. He would be a guarantee for making them money for years to come. You can only go so far against elite level opposition with Khan's chin. Why not get the biggest bang out of your buck on him when there's still time?

This would actually be a good matchup. Floyd would knock him out, but it would be a good fight while it lasted. I'd love to see it personally.

hmm for me i was kinda hoping floyd would fight either berto, williams or even maybe cotto.we will see though, im not so sure how true this **** is anyway coming from here.most people just pot the 1st **** they see and read no matter the source.ill keep my ears in tuned for an future update in a few days or so.
