If Khan even survives that long, Young Mayweather fighting him would take place in the first half of 2012.

Win-win situation for everyone involved. Floyd would age enough where Khan has a better chance. Amir gets enough decent Ws under his belt to be a credible victory for Young Mayweather. Floyd knocking out Amir isn't so bad for anyone. GBP knows that you can only go so far on the elite level with Amir's chin, but everyone walks away with too much dinero when it's Floyd KO'ing Amir. Amir has a reason to fulfill his dream of retiring at 25 after being stopped by Floyd. Floyd beats up emmanuel, and then has another fight in 2011.

HomoJerome, I thought you were supposed to be off the forum since Khan signed to fight Maidana?

Near 2012 meaning in around 13-14 months from now end of 2011.

2 fights, Maidana(Dec11th) and then Bradley or Alexander( Sping/Summer 2011)

If Khan can win these fights , then he is ready for moving upto 147(IMO Khan's best fighting weight) late 2011.

    Bring em on baby, anyone.

I'm a fan of Khan's but come on, he's facing Maidana in a fight that could go either way and if he gets through that then we have no idea how he's gonna fare against the likes of Alexander and Bradley.

Talk of of him even getting in the ring with Floyd is completely premature, let alone the possibility of a Khan win. Come on.

What does a fight with Floyd represent?

    *Big Money £20m-£30m for Khan

*Chance to make history, trying to beat Floyd.

GBP are putting this into Khan's head that if you win these next 2 or 3 fights, you get a shot at Floyd, it's like a reward.

This has been Khan's dream from day one.

Darni, only a few months ago. Roach himself said Khan was not ready for Bradley. Now you're saying he's nearly ready for Mayweather...

All this aside about whether he'd be capable of it doesn't really matter anyway. Mayweather is simply not going to be interested in fighting him. The only reason FMJ currently fights is because he wants the Pac fight, as he see's him as a threat to his legacy. Any fights which he takes prior to that happening are just to build up to that event/part of his negotiations attempting to prove PPV value worth etc. FMJ will be retired before Khan would get to that level.

?? Thats not a reward that GBP are in a position to offer.

I'm not saying he hasn't said that. What I'm telling you is that a few months ago he said he was not ready for Bradley.

I'm not sure where you're getting 20-30million from... Hatton took around 10million and he had an appeal that Khan simply isn't ever going to be able to generate
