Hatton made around £18m fighting Floyd away from home, surely Khan can make more than that at home.

Floyd's global popularity expands right after he beats emmanuel's AZZ. Khan gets some foos on the bandwagon after cleaning out 140. They would easily do those kind of numbers.

    No. no. no.

Firstly, you've read your facts wrong. It was not £18million, it was just under 18 million dollars, which is around £10 million.

Secondly, your post goes onto bordering on levels of insane if you think that there's more revenue to be made in the UK than fighting in the USA.

Plus before Floyd fought Hatton, Floyd was not that well known over here in U.K.

Floyd is well known over here now due to the Hatton fight.

So stupid on so many levels. So Darni, who is going to be paying Khan this 20-30 million quid?

Yeah that was how much he got paid for the fight around £10m, but he also had the rights for all UK PPV which was another £8m.

Cant find the link right now.

Darni, it's embarassing to read some of your posts.

You do realise that in UK PPV, getting above £5 million together for a purse is a miracle. That's around 1 million buys which is unlikely to happen again in the near future. Was done by Ricky Hatton who for obvious reasons has an appeal that goes out of boxing into the huge football market because he's a white, football following, beer drinking average guy.

Yet you think that somehow Amir Khan is going to get 5-6 times that number of people, 6 million people, considering there is around 10 million Sky customers, almost 1 in 10 people in the UK watching the PPV.....

Mayweather, despite his occasional mentions of a UK fight, is NEVER going to fight in the UK for the simply reason it means a massive drop in revenue. UK fights can take a huge gate, but the PPV suffers immensely due to the time difference, and that gate collapses once you decide to keep people in an arena until 4.30am so that it can be on USA primetime. It's never going to happen.

This fight would break all Britsh boxing PPV records, as i said before Floyd is now known more due the Hatton fight, also this fight would be held in a much bigger venue than Vas Vegas.

Plus show me the link stating Hatton only got paid £10m for the Floyd fight?

Why you're even arguing over figures or anything is beyond me. Khan might one day be in a position where a fight with Floyd is a viable option but **** me, all he has right now is unproven potential and a couple of good wins against Paulie and Kotelnik. Take 1 fight at a time. 3/4/5 fights down the line is an eternity in boxing, anything can happen.

Oh ****! You are a gift that just keeps on giving. Stop posting, seriously. It's embarrassing. And FYI, maybe a bigger arena, but the LV casinos pay a hell of a lot more. Stop man.

    :patsch

Khan vs Floyd would be the biggest fight on U.K soil in the last 25yrs at least.

Just Floyd fighting in the U.K would be crazy.

    Darni... NO

Break all records so that 6 million out of 10 million sky customers bought it?, if you really believe it would do 6 million UK PPV to generate you're 20-30million for Khan you are beyond help.

That aside, bigger venue doesn't mean anything Darni, do you really think 80,000 people would sit in an arena till 4.30am?!

No it wouldn't. And it wouldn't come near breaking PPV records. Get real.
