I'd be pretty pissed off if the ceo of my own company was structuring deals and contracts under the table. That would seem counter to his title no? I wonder about the legalities too.

How pissed would you be if you were the CEO who went to the President to discuss business but had to stand and watch The President do lines while chugging down a quart of Gin, dressed in Victoria Secrets best lace garments?

The fact that Oscar likes hookers and blow... and um lace panties is irrelevant and does not give the Snake the right to essentially steal from GBP.

Oscar wasn't taking care of business he was an addict. You really can't blame Richard here. He clearly didn't like the poor lack of leadership Oscar was displaying and was the real brains behind GBP anyway. With that said I hope they work it out GBP has done a lot of good for boxing.

Shakes head. You guys really have a slippery sense of ethics huh? It doesn't matter whatever the hell Oscar does, the Snake works for GBP. His job is to protect GBP's interest, not line the Snakes own pockets.

Having to renegociate for every fight might not be the best idea economicaly speeking. It increases the transaction cost, meaning both promoters and fighters might have less money in the long, and the lawyers... more.

Most of you are already saying Oscar will fail. We don't know, only time will tell.

I will be watching, that is for sure.

Really ? Do you think company like Apple, Microsoft or any other multi billion dollar company would have the trust of its investors if they carried on like Oscar?

They would have been removed a long time ago despite being owners of the company..

You for some reason are over looking the unethical way in which Oscar was conducting himself.
Then once he was fresh out of rehab, he wants to start making major decision like he's the CEO of the company, a company he was too drunk or high to run over the past 8 or nine year, give or take a few.

Oscar stepped on the hands that built GBP, not to mention people who invested money into GBP.

Not really, its common knowledge that the more money a fighter makes, the less money the promoter makes.

They are two opposites side of the coin, one take a finical risk, one takes physical risk. Fighter and promoter are in a direct conflict of interest.

Fighter signing long term promotional deal are locked into percentages. This is something to think about down the line especially for a fighter who has a very bright future. To get a small percentage of a multi million dollar fight, is what set some fighter looking to get out or re-nigociate their promotional contracts.

Bottom line the promoter is NEVER on the side of whats best for the fighter but whats best for the bottom line of his/her promotional company.
