Unreal how holding which is the first line of defence in the American school of slickness is suddenly verboten when a foreigner is the one doing it. How many time you seen an American ref deduct a point from an American fighter for doing it in round 2? Yeah exactly

They normally don't even bother doing so in 12 rounds

    Round 1 Vianello 10-9
    Round 2 Torrez 10-8

Guido winging in rights, missing most of them, Richard ducking down, lots of headlocks and holding. Treiber docks Guido a point for holding. Meanwhile Torrez landing a ton of rabbit punches. He's also flinging himself into Vianello, trying to force him to hold.

to be fair, Wlad built a career on holding and almost never had any points deducted.

The referee seems to be on the side of Torrez.

I'm not going to score anymore. Guido will either get disqualified or stopped. No inside game and the holding is ridiculous.

The uppercut is Guidos money shot, Torrez is open for it all night.

I love harsh punishment of strategic clinching, but that was excessive. We had barely started establishing a pattern.
