12 rounds on the Quigg/Munroe undercard.

Wallisch is 8-0 with 5 KOs. His best win to date is against 27-0 Yakup Saglam (those 27 wins came against **** poor opposition though). Here it is:

Good step up for Towers against a fellow undefeated prospect :bbb

is this for the bread and butter european title or one of them funny meaningless ones? If it is great step up for Towers things need to start moving for him now.

Good fight for Towers who needs to have a busy year. Its for the vacant EBU-EU title, is that good?

Wallisch looks like a typical upright Euro HW. He does throw some meaty looking shots but he's slow, flat-footed & very stiff.

Towers has a height & reach advantage, is much more athletic & I think he's a level above the German. He should win this fairly easily but he'll need to stay disciplined, I havent seen his chin tested yet so Ive no idea how well he takes a shot.

Is there any links confirming this fight? I know they been talking about it for a few months.

I've seen this Wallisch chap fight a couple of times before and he doesn't look that bad, albeit against woeful opposition. Decent movement for his size. This looks a good even fight on paper between two big lads.

Its just a stepping stone for the full EBU title like an English title before stepping up to British level, this belt for boxers within the European Union so Towers should go for it then of he wins have a crak at the EBU title .

If he wins I could see him fighting Fury next. Would be a very easy fight for Channel 5 to sell to casuals with 'The European' title on the line. It isn't like they're going to have a clue what a Pulev or a Dimitrenko is anyway.

But its not even claiming to be the "European" title, and I doubt 5 are interested in an EU title fight. This is, like was said, a stepping stone title similar to the English, nothing wrong witht that in my eyes.
