    The promoter of Richardson Hitchins confirmed that Hitchins vacated his IBF Super Lightweight belt and moved up in Welterweight (147 lbs). Hitchins later confirmed that he moved up on X.

    Yes, and when you think about it, it's maybe also a smart strategy . Welterweight is currently still a weak weight class only three boxers are really dangerous there Brian Norman Jr., Devin Haney, and Conor Benn, I find the others far inferior of Hitchins. He has every chance of becoming champion again. Nevertheless, he's still in the shadow of Shakur Stevenson, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, and Gervonta Davis.

    Because he knows the IBF will strip him under Zuffa so he'll target a WBC route as they will take anybodys money
