Seeing him on air rambling on about boring bull**** looking like a microwaved prune is sickening. Someone should do the man a favour and fire his wrinkly arse. Surely the hectic schedule of working for 9 is too much a task for someone who's 150.

Should he step down or be sacked?

**** him off, nobody want's to see washed up Mike Tyson or ODLH fight anymore, so why do we have to put up with Richie talking about how great the 1950's were.

Get over it, we have all moved on.

Looking at the old guy, it's only the sport that keeps him alive... assuming he is still alive??

He is the face of cricket, albeit a wrinkly old half senile face, but he can't go until he chooses to, anything else would be a disservice to cricket. And Mark Taylor is the most monotone boring twat i've ever heard on air, find another replacement please!
    2/222 would be awesome, haha.

Hes that rare thing a classy Australian and his wealth of knowledge since the 1950s as a world-class cricketer brings more than any other commentator in the world, especially as hes that other rare thing, an unbiased Aussie :good

Though Ian Chappell is very good and pretty straight, the other commentators are ok but nothing special and they can can onlt talk about modern players and play by play stuff, the link that Richie brings when hes talking about guys he saw first hand and played against like Sobers, Keith Miller etc is just irreplaceble.

Unless hes going senile or something and even then he should be able to go out on his own terms
