He has earned the right to die on air calling the cricket. **** you young haterpups, show some respect for your elders!
Imagine if Cliffy Lyons was allowed to go out on his own terms. He'd still be playing with you ****s today.
And he'd still be befuddling the opposition :yep Plus there would have been no need to bring Lyon in from the centres :yep
Where is old Cliffy these days anyway? He still connected to the club in some way? I read somewhere before that Toovey was asked to take over as CEO or chairman. With all the knocks to the head that that kid got, he couldn't be too bright up stairs these days.
Going out on his own terms? Gimme a break.......... he'll go out when ch9 ratings nosedive. Almost all Politicans, Sporstman and CEO's go out the same way, there's no loyalty in the world anymore.
I see Cliffy around the peninsula every now and again - I think he's involved in some business ventures up the Central Coast way. Tooves? His daughter goes to my kids school - she's got his athletic genes, always winning sports awards and kicking arse at carnivals. Tooves is an edgy little **** :yep I've said g'day to him a few times and you get a different reaction every time. BTW, he goes alright for a bloke who copped so many headshots - he's been on NRMA's board of directors for years :nod
Wash your mouths out with soap . Old mate Richie is a walking encyclopedia on all things cricket. Mark Taylor is the best cure for insomnia that I know of. [ apart from a bottle of Jim Beam]
Richie should be able to stay as long as he wants and KP probably had that set in stone before he died.long live Richie.Pecks a bit of respect for Aussie icons there champ.:nono
