He's majorly screwing the boxers who were stupid enough to sign for him.

Dan Raphael just posted this contract stipulation he gets boxers to sign in their contracts with him.

Just to make this clear, Haymon has the power to leave a boxer on the shelf without them ever fighting, also he can turn down career high paydays for them if he doesn't like the promoter. He is acting as their Promoter and Manager which is illegal under the Muhamed Ali Act and he needs to chased out of boxing.

Oh geez, like this is something new. Floyd and Oscar had to sue to get out of their contracts with Arum. :patsch You guys hate Haymon because he's associated with Mayweather. The hate is real. Just like you hate SHO because they gave Floyd a FAT contract.

If Floyd and Oscar had disagreements with their Promoter then thats fine and they went their separate ways.

    The difference is,

Al Haymon is acting both as their Manager and Promoter.

When Quillin and Wilder lose their next fights for chicken feed and are on skid row, do you think Haymon is going to give a **** about them or pay them the Million dollars they could have got from Roc Nation? No.

A boxers life can be a short one and they need to make the most money they can as one punch can change their income levels completely.

Quillin and Wilder could have been set up for life with the Roc Nation deals but now they're going to risk their lives in the ring for a fraction of the money they could have got.

If anyone thinks this is good management then they're stupid.

Haymon is a piece of **** and needs to be run out of boxing.

Oscar combined with Arum. Recall Arum got an FBI investigation of his own company swept under the carpet. We will see if Haymon has those same types of connections.

I would say Oscar outmanuevered him. His plan all along was to acquire golden boy. Now he has to start from scratch or find another promoter to parasite on.

But its all about the NBC deal. He can't negotiate/get a deal unless he's a licensed promoter.

The truth is none of us know what is really going on. The guy is way smarter than us and obviously there has to be more to the story than what we know. If everybody in the boxing world, internet forums, etc etc knew that he was doing something wrong, then he has to be ready for any repercussions as well. We will see what happens. I can't help but think he has something up his sleeve.

Al Haymon gving us terrible mismatches was not always the case. We actually got a ton of terrific fights in 2013. He was pretty much taking showtime and golden boy to another level. Every boxing fan was anointing Showtime as the new leader in the boxing world. We were getting awesome triple headers, just really terrific cards from top to bottom. Al Haymon and his fighters were the biggest reason for that. Things have changed in 2014 and I'm not sure if it coincided with the Shaefer departure or not. Probably so

Haymon's hubris is his downfall. It's not uncommon for smart guys who get a taste of power and success to become drunk with it. He had a pretty sweet spot carved out for himself in boxing, but the thirst for power and growing disregard for remotely trying to toe the line of the Ali Act anymore will haunt him.

He's burned bridges with the other networks and promoters, and as usual in boxing, it's the fighters that will pay the price. There's no way he can keep his stable active and pay them well without a premium network like Showtime subsidizing the purses.

The big names fortunate enough to benefit from the signing bonuses and the big paydays he was able to extract are simply the first investors in a Ponzi scheme who actually get paid back to make it look legitimate. Now, the gravy train's leaving the station. Good luck getting those paydays now that Al himself is footing the bill and won't play nice with other promoters despite them offering huge paydays for his fighters.

This is a Ponzi scheme destined to collapse on itself and the 100 plus fighters propping it up. Congrats, we just found the Bernie Madoff of boxing.
