Rick godding title shot well over due ?

Does he deserve a title shot? Of course end of day lesser fighters have had title fights in his weight division domestically.

Will he get one? Beat Barnes and he will.

Why hasn't he got a title shot already?. High risk, Low Reward.

That's a pretty decent looking card. Will prob buy now that the Butler BoxNation card has been put back til April

 

a lot of people seem to think the Barnes / Godding aint going to happen and with an announcement for Gavins opponent supposedly coming anytime soon (although has been for about a week or so) could it be that he has got his shot?

Gavins already said his next fight is a good defence but not Vassell (he's said thats next)

Although saying that the date that was meant to be pencilled in for Gavins defence was 12th April in Brum but the Butler Liverpool cards been moved to that date now

 

Didn't Gavin say his next fight would be against a good experienced fighter?. If so it could well be David Barnes who's experienced..

Godding deserves a chance i have to agree with PP.

 

got to disagree here the division he is in is very competitive and there are a lot of good fighters and a lot of good up and coming fighters and for me godding hasnt beat any of them at all.

If he beats barnes or another good fighter he will deserve his shot but to build up a decent record beating no domestic rivals does not warrant getting a title shot for me

 

Godding deserves a shot because he took a risk and fought abroard against jackiewicz and got robbed in a ridiculous decision. jackiewicz is now fighting for the european belt. Not enough fighters take risks, he took one and it should have paid off.

 

YES,he deserves a british title, he'avoided. so that says a lot, its tough banging away in them gyms with little of note on the horizon, his style doesent blend with gavins, but a commonwealth would be ok with an agressive opponent.:good
