Just read a very interesting article on boxing's own Elvis, by Pete Ehrmann. Written in 1995 just after his death at the hands of Tim Anderson, it goes some way to explaining why Anderson did it, and how despite being a murderer he was also a victim of the cruel Parker. With the likes of Bert Cooper, Mark Gastineau, Tex Cobb and George Foreman all associated with Parker, I am sure there must of been one or two interesting stories floating around.
That was an intresting story i read that way back when, and Anderson was really mistreated by him, the details are gonna faded though. Did you read this in the old magazine Boxing Illustrated? Didnt Tim Anderson die?
