With regards to training Ricky again it was mentioned but only if he decided to leave London, however Ricky has decided to stay in London, so like before I wish him well

Billy did a great job as Burns' trainer but can't compete with the beauty salons available for the Rickster:

Maybe if Billy could perfect the "sack and crack" treatment that could swing it:yikes:yikes

You were very vocal in the gym about Ricky leaving Frank.. You were giving him the advice to leave. You told everyone that would listen that Ricky had not been paid etc.. You know what you said so can't say you had no involvement I do agree though Ricky is an adult so was fully his choice. You always try and make yourself look good.. People prefer honesty

Id have thought he wasn't happy not getting paid for doing his job.
Either way i dont beleive Nelson would have any pull in Ricky leaving, it would have been Ricky and his managers choice surely?

Possibly not but he still said it. Billy and Ricky were and I'm sure still are very close. I'm sure Billy has a lot of say

Then id say Nelson would have every right to express his anger at not being paid, for any boxer not to be paid and putting there health on the line and not be paid is scandelous, so if neithier guy got paid they hadnt earned wages for about a year from Paulise Moses until Ricky fought Gonzalez.
I have total sympathy with both, put the shoe on the other foot and try living without an income for a year and if someone owed you £££ you would'nt have many complimentary things to say would you?

I would be honest with what I said. I was clear when I said grass isn't always greener and that has been right. Facts are that he breached contract due to dodgy advice if he had stayed he would of got paid (eeveryone else did). I think he would not of been put in silly fights. I like Ricky was one of his biggest fans but he seemed to like the hype of Matchroom it backfired. Also I always rated Billy as a coach as a man I'm not so sure.

There you go a faceless keyboard terrorist.. My brother has achieved more in life than you ever will. Go ask a lot of the top fighters who Ronnie spars or has thought if he's a journeyman. He has achieved everything on his own no help from anyone. He also takes any fight any where against anyone. Has fought some of the best prospects we have. Fact he beat Ryan Walsh and he was given a draw... Walsh us British champion who gave Selby a close fight... He beat Maxi Hughes given a draw very good fight.. He beat Craig Evans and was given the defeat the crowd boo.'d the decision. He lost a close split decision to Troy James fight could of gone either way. Troy is a very good fighter. His only clear loss in to the highly rated Cacacae the fight was close one judge had Ronnie up going into the last and 2 had him down.. Ronnie like the Warrior he is knew he needed a stoppage and put it all on the line. Had Anto badly hurt then got caught. No shame in that again another close fight.. Disrespectful calling a fighter like that a journeyman
