Ricky Burns and Kevin Mitchell Would both beat Adrian Broner

I am a big fan of Ricky Burns but he would certainly have his hands full with Broner.
Just as fast as he was overcooked in terms of rating his ability thus far,he is now being slaughtered on the back of his performance at the weekend.He was an excellent talent on Friday and he's still an excellent talent today.
The accusation above about Ricky ducking is drivel.Why fight the most dangerous opponent at a weight you are clearly struggling to make.
That's right,the correct thing to do is go in dehydrated and half cocked so you can get the **** punched out you.

From what I've seen from these two...I dont see how these guys would bring to the table to beat Broner.

 

Kevin Mitchell would definitely get stopped, he ain't strong enough to keep Broner off of him.

Ricky Burns is capable of going all 12 but Burns has not beat anyone of note, Katsidis? We all know Kats ain't so special. Martinez? Flawed Puerto Rican with okay punching power.

 

Burns ducked Broner when he moved up and vacated his title instead of fighting Broner and Mitchell was KTFO'd by Katsidis. Both of these dumb brits get schooled by Broner.

 

I'd be rooting like hell for Burns, but with virtually no confidence in him pulling it off.

yeah Ricky Burns the guy who ran from the division when he had the biggest fight of his life scheduled as an HBO headliner vs Broner.... Burns would get iced and he knows it so he he vacated his title and left the division despite having the biggest fight of his life lined up.

Mitchell would last 4 rounds tops vs Broner. Burns might make the distance and I actually think Burns is a good fighter he's my fave brit at the moment but I see nothing in his arsenal that bothers Broner. 9-3/10-2 type decision for the problem.

Broner is too Slick and Black for Burns

Rios is too Mexican and Agressive for Mitchell

which is why they ducked.

 

Mitchell never ducked Rios. Kevin Mitchell was on a curfew and could not leave the UK. So Rios fought Kevin's leftovers instead.

 

Yeah burns ran to a stronger division to face a more proven fighter where a victory could have possibly put him in a marquez fight had he not vacated although that was a bit unlikely.

 

bad style for burns - he has a better chance of beating gamboa - i think he only loses to linares clearly vs any current LW

 

i give these guys a shot at beating broner, but i would pick broner to win vs both of these guys.

Mitchell gets KTFO. Burns beats Mitchell by fairly easy UD but gets beat in a close fight and broner's skills build him an early lead with burns coming on strongly later on but has to much to do. 117/111 - 116-112 UD for Broner
