I fired up a status on Facebook last night asking who'd all be up for it and the replys were great, got 6 definites so far (plus me) and another 4 who want to wait and see how much tickets/travel/accomodation will be. I'm genuinely thinking of running a bus down to it and getting some cheap digs. Should be a great night.

I got a twin at Wembley Holiday Inn for £72 and flights to Luton (for two) for £110 mate.
That's far less than I anticipated,and it means the £150 tickets are a distinct possibilty.
Get in there for the hotels now though Mckay.They'll fly up in price and we only got good rates on laterooms.com.:good

 

I've been saying on the Gen that this Burns is a disgrace BB.Imagine not fighting Broner because he only had half a camp to prepare then having the cheek to fight the IBF champion in a unification(remember them?) bout.:roll:

well it should have been that way except the RING is run by Goldenboy so they moved Broner up to number one ahead of Miguel and kept Demarco at number 3 :nut however I heard in the general that the rules still make it so that this could be for the RING crown. Not sure if its true though

by all intents and purposes, this fight declares the top dog at the weight based on resume, quite obviously

 

Burns is rated 4 and Vasquez 2 which means the Ring belt won't be on the line.

 

From what I hear, same thing. Winner of Burns-Vasquez= Ring champ.

 

BTW, dont you all think its kind of funny that now Burns has landed a monster fight the unsilent majority have suddenly went a bit quiet on the subject of Burns?
