Ricky Burns forced to fight for world title in Puerto Rico

GlADIATOR scottish boxer do get raw deal as most have to go to england to fight for major titles the only scottish boxer who get reasonable protection are the ones who where with a top promotor but i must say guys like tommy gilmour and alex morrison get there boxers more chances now than they ever did so fair play to them . but make no mistake if they are boxing in england against a top promotors boxers they need to win 8 rounds clear or it going the other way john simpson got a terible decision
also i remeber kieth knox got done over with mikey vann for the british title and there many more like that its only since scott harrison got tv back to scotland that our boxer have been getting fair play just for the record it happen up hears aswell i was at a show in glasgow when tanny ahmed was knock down and was out the ref help him up he was lieing on the ropes the count should have been twenty and he let him carry on the bell rang and he won the bout at the very best it was a draw

 

Ricky is right up for anything anywhere!, the more I think about this the more I think Ricky can do this.

 

I had a dream last night that Ricky beat Martinez and was the toast of scotland. Unfortuntalely I had forgotten the fight was on so missed it. Hope its a good omen.

Will this fight be on TV? I know someone mentioned earlier it might not be.

 

I really doubt it will but i hope it is because it's worth showing but it will be early hours of morning and i don't see major broadcasters showing it so maybe Warren may try stream it through his site or have to watch it off Puerto Rican channels online.
