if this is the case ,then i am disspapointed that Frank Warren dosent value Burns or rate him highly enough to back it up with a winning purse bid, that is even if he actually bidded for it .dissapointed ot hear this although i do think burns can win this

Actually Ricky can hit fairly hard when he sits down on his punches, but just doesnt fight like that unless forced to. I sparred him in the barn a few years back and when he does give it a 100% its a good shot, didnae hurt me of course :D

Let's have respect for a guy who is confident enough in his abilities to fight away from home. I think it's the right choice - let's not have him winning the fight by dubious hometown decision, let's see him go and put on the best display of his career.

Cook was able to box Martinez, and I think Ricky's got a better chin than Nicky does. It'll be tight, but if Ricky boxes with the form he's been showing in recent fights, I can see him winning a close UD.

    burns hasnt got a hope

he struggled with o'hara who is a part time boxer and beat up a shot gomez

dosent deserve a shot at a genuine "world title"

im going to be completly honest,if theres one man i'd want that could perform in a intimidating atmosphere its ricky burns, people are entitled to there opinion, but it will be so good to give the doubters the finger when we bring back the title.

No problem, just offering just in case - always willing to help a potential Scottish champ

    found fights with:
Roman 'Rocky' Martinez vs Daniel Jimenez /Christian Favela /Santos Benavides
