    From what I hear from people who actually know Ricky he didn't want to give up his belt. He would have travelled to America and defended it rather than relinquish it.

    So if what I have heard is true- then hism saying anything OTHER than that is a lie.

    I have no doubt what Ricky wanted he is a great guy and a warrior but in the end what happened?? Why did it happen? The reason I just gave. :patsch

    Skel bang on the money mate.

    Ricky cares so much for his 'fans' that he fights 3 gimme's in a row and ****s off as soon as frank says so. He is merely a part of the Mitchell masterplan which is basically feed Burns to Kats and then sell Mitchell v Kats again. Ricky in the meantime has to pick up the pieces and fights possibly a John Murray whom has come off a a comeback win against a journeyman following his ko loss to Rios. Bump this thread in 6 months and tell me I am wrong.

    Trying to give Ricky a bad name .I can't beleive this thread makes it look like Burn's has got more haters than fans already He beats Kat's he'll probably still get slated .Shocking how many posters have slated Burns in this thread .All must watch more Gary Barlow than boxing .

    I was nodding my head in agreement while reading that but then thought, do you think Mitchell is part of fish eyes long term plans?

    I don't know what Mitchell's contract status is but I can see him jumping to Matchroom at the first opportunity. Also, wouldn't the Mitchell-Katsidis rematch be a strong enough sell anyway without Burns involvement/beating?

    Agree mate, He could of said no but he went along with it. I dunno about the Mitchell bit though as poster earlier said he looks on way out to Matchroom. Frank in BN last week was far from friendly towards Kev.

    Yes you will be right mate NOT,like it or not but Ricky is much beter than kevin or john and he is willing to prove it unlike the other two who have kocked back the fight. fact not wishful thinking!
