Not the greatest idea seeming he was getting hurt regularly by lightweights. Thought he should go back down in weight if he could still make it to where he was most effective. Hope he proves me wrong though

This isn't a bad idea although I'd rather he stay at LW
Ricky sparred the best LWW in the UK and got the better of all of them so the weight won't be the issue

Should stay at lw in my opinion... But the days of having a world title are over sadly.

Ricky peaked long ago, I think it's time for him to accept this and move on with his life,

He's had a good career and IMO achieved more than he should, he should hang the gloves up now with his health in tact and a bank balance 90% of the population could only dream of

Realistically he has not won a fight since beating K Mitchell (and god only knows what state Kevin was in for that fight) and since then not convincingly won a round,

Really in his world title run it could be argued there wasn't really a world class win in there

Hopefully he doesn't end up doing self damage cause he really is one of the nice guys in boxing

You've gotta love Boxing for it's sheer stupidity at times!

Two losses and it's new trainers and new weightclasses!

    Hilarious.

The domestic division is very weak but I'd be shocked if he could win a world title at LWW. Good luck to him mind.

Scared to take a punch and has zero power.

    Ridiculous idea to move up.

If Ricky is getting good strength and conditioning he may well find a bit more power.. He has always boiled down to both Super Feather then Lightweight. Light Welter Is probably more his natural weight. He should of grew into the wait trained hard on Strength and Power them fought maybe November time.. He will be better for the move up
