Koba Gogoladze < Alex Arthur < Nicky Cook < Roman Martinez < Ricky Burns = World #1 Super Featherweight. Fact.

I believe Ricky Burns would have way too much pressure and output for Mitchell.

I simply dont think he will take the fight.

It's all been a cunning plan.

Matthyse was food poisoned so Crolla moves onto fight Morales paving the way for the mouthwatering battle of Limond v Burns....the Scottish MEGAFIGHT that surpasses Buchanan v Watt

Frank works for Ricky. Fact. If Ricky says "Frank, I want Broner before I outgrow 130lbs. That's the only fight I want. Get it for me, wherever I need to go" what would happen then?

shrewd move imo, lighweight is looking like one of the weaker weights at the minute with JMM, Rios, Kats, Guerrero and Soto all moving up. Would like to see Burns make at least one defence against a top ten ranked opponent before moving up though.

have no problem with the inevitable clash with Mitchell afterwards if he faces a top ten SFW and then fights someone like Vasquez or Linares afterwards (if he wins these fights of course)

Im totally 100% in agreement with you and am sure many other's are, its a shame Billy ignored my post and many other's which state good points and instead gets annoyed and irrational. You know what boxing wants, you know what fans want, Ricky knows it aswell.

It's basically further proof its a business not a sport and Im sure a lucrative carrot has been dangled.

lets be real. and fair play for Fwank for doing it, he is setting up a position where Mitchell or Burns can pick up a vacant WBO title and then defend agaisnt other ****** fighters.

That’s appalling and the exact thing that Frank was guilty of years ago. He seemed to have moved past that, but clearly not. No way Mitchell or Burns beats even a 38-year old Marquez. They’ve no right to call themselves champions if they inherit a belt.

Probably the worst 'title' lineage ever.
