not that Burns is a bad fighter. I really rate him. But I don't think he is elite elite level.

Broner is by no means the finished article, you just need to look at his fight with Ponce de Leon but he has improved since that fight though against physically weaker oppostion, something Burns is not. Litzau is of Burns' height but nowhere near as strong or technically good. I would predict a Broner win something like 116-112 but Burns would put up one hell of a fight and maybe nick it if he got the jab going.

Gift decisions against Ponce De Leon and Marvin Quintero. Broner has never fought anyone close to the league of Burns.

I've only seen a coujple of broner fights but I reckon Ricky's height and workrate could shut down his offence. From what i've seen of broner he is beatable and i reckon burns would have a shot.

Broner wins every round against Burns. 120-108. Doubt the fight will ever happen though if i'm honest...think Broner is hot property to HBO right now and Ricky doesn't really bring enough to the table

So why fight the likes of Nicky Crook, Evensen and Laryea then jump up in weight as soon as a difficult mandatory comes. You had the chance to make the fight and you ducked it. Eyes don't lie.

Broner would beat Burns very easily in my opinion, I have never been more sure on a potential match up.

Mr Nelson can say what he likes, obviously he will back Ricky 100% and so he should.

anyway we might aswell forget that match up because no doubt Burns will move to light welterweight soon because there is a good chance Broner is moving up to lightweight.

Burns promoter doesn't like his fighters losing or taking too many risks on it happening. I can't see this fight being made.

Broner is being badly overrated and Burns is really underrated

Ricky would beat him 8 rounds to 4
