All he had to do was last 3 more rds and he could have got a DRAW at the very least if he didn't get knocked down.

BURNS is one lucky mother ****er and has proved he's quite clearly not world class but definately one with alot of heart.

 

He could have literally ran away for 3 rounds and won the fight. Eddie Hearn whispered a number in his ear.

 

He had nothing left. **** it! when you guys step in the ring and feel that maybe you'd understand. Good fight.

Ricky seems to be tough and durable but throw his conditioning on top of that and he looks very hard to stop. Intangiables more so than talent or skills won this fight. He fought hard and broke his heart.

Likewise, people must remember that if Gonzalez drops a level to try and last the distance then the fight doesn't look as competative or winnable. Its about having the ability to compete at a high level for 12 rounds.
