Burns has the stuff of champions. It's a major thing that sets fighters apart. Even Ali had to dig deep for the wins rather than beat everyone with ability. Stripped to the bones, this is a fight and Ricky loves a fight, Gonzalez clearly doesn't.

  3. If fat billy comes on here and even mentions broner he should be hounded off the ****ing forum

    Broner would KO rickster

I lost money on gonzalez but I fully respect the display he put on. I'm not at all bothered he didn't come out that was a great fight. I hope he has broke his wrist and its confirmed.

Yes Burns fought someone who was clearly a better boxer than him no doubt about it. There is no doubt that Gonzalez is a classy boxer. Burns once again amazes me when the chips are down he digs in and shows how much heart he has and how much he wanted that no one can tell me he isn't a champion. That is what you call a champion. Someone who is willing to go that extra mile, bleed, sweat and battle his way to a win even when everything is going against him. Burns is a great champion.

Seriously, it's not so straight forward as "it was a fix" ffs!! Gonzalez was ****ing knackered. I've never seen Ricky be so out of range as that but it reminded of McClennan a little. No plan B from Gonzalez. Good fight

I can't believe how many people don't really watch the fight. Ricky hit him with an absolute monster right on the button in the 7th. It shook him to his boots and his legs and heart just went.

No fix at all. He hit burns with his best and gassed and burns just kept ploughing on. They say that Ricky trains harder than anyone, well that hard work just paid off dividends.

Burns is a lovely fella. Dunno how anyone can dislike him. He's the pride of Scotland.

It does annoy me how the British boxing section on these forums has turned into the general, what the **** are people on about fix. I swear half the people on here are not even into boxing and just like to troll like on the general.
