Bad point deduction imo

 

Very good round for burns but 9-9 round

 

If Ricky Burns had a little more power he'd be quality. Classy boxer, does everything right. Doing well inside when Gomez is close too, don't care about what this tosser ref thinks.

 

Gomez face looks all beat up and swollen now. He certainly aint what he used to be

 

RD5 - Burns deduted a point for excessive holding. Unfair, but its surely not gonna change the end result. Gomez still boring in, but Burns shots are getting to him. Burns now connecting with some full shots. Gomez brave as ****, still in there, but i can see a stoppage in the next few rounds.

 

Both looking pretty tired, Burns not moving as much as he was but still landing some good punches

Gomez is taking WAY too many shots absolutely flush. No head movement whatsoever, and not keeping his hands high enough. Add that to stoic foot movement and this happens.

this ref is worse than joe cortez in hatton mayweather fight.

 

I've given Burns everything so far and I havn't taken a point off him.
