Unlucky tonight Jeffrodamus. Burns didn't really let your man into the fight except for a few fleeting moments where he hurt him briefly.

Consolation is...you looked pretty stylish on Sky Sports.

i think Burns has the style to beat Martninez and isn't as vulnerable as Cook. Lets not forget Cook was outboxing him until he started getting involved inside. Burns could keep him at long range all night. Still i'd like to see him in a couple more domestic fights, Mitchell would be a tough fight.

 

Just back from the fight Anderson broke a rib early in the fight, his brother came out and told us, Dean powell wanted to pull him out, dont know how the **** he carried on, was taken to hospital after.

Unlucky to Team Gomez (Jeff), Gomez has got alot of heart, Burns boxed well. Good to see a fellow ESBer on Sky Sports.

 

Gomez said in the interview after the fight he wants 2 easy 4/6 round fights to get up to 50 fights as a pro. No one will begrudge him that.

 

Billy nelson has done a great job. He's made burns a much more compact fighter and his body punching was troubling mike a lot more then was apparent- I would give burns a 50-50 with Martinez, he's a really nice kid and hope he does well.
