Ricky Burns v Nicky Cook

I was planning on going to this fight, but I'm still on the fence - hadn't factored in that Bellew fighting on the same card meant that it'd be less likely to get cheap prices at a decent hotel. Assuming he's still on the card that is. I've got a few weeks before payday before I need to commit one way or another...

Paul has been in my gym for 2 months or so now,he lacked confidence big time, but now with coaching and sparring class guys regularly imo will sweep up domestically he is a very talented young man

Cook does not deserve the shot but he is a good domestic fighter, former title holder and should come in shape and come to fight.

I much rather this fight happen then Burns fights some complete unknown.

Warren ain't stupid he knows Burns is not an elite fighter, not yet anyway. He is trying to protect him until the right unification fight comes along. Last time I looked, Burns was in a weak division and he has more of a chance then you would think.
