How do we see this going then?? Am goin with the heart and saying a strong UD!

Cant believe he is fighting in the US, say what you like about him but the boy from Coatbridge is living the dream!

Figueroa is extremely beatable and the best version of Burns has a great chance, however I think Burns is well past his sell by date. I'm leaning towards a late tko for Figueroa.

I like Ricky Burns and wish him well but sadly I see him getting mauled, also his style of jab and grab will not go down well in Texas.

burns is 6-1 to win this, can't find odds on him winning on points, but when a price comes I'm going on this. Think omar ko is the most likely outcome but if ricky on points is 10/1ish I think he can outbox him.

hopefully ricky gets a few quid from this too after his recent difficulties.

Hopefully Burns puts on a decent show and has a few more domestic dust ups left in him ?i fear its another nail in his career coffin though and can see Hearn hanging him out to dry if this fight goes badly...

Facts are Burns is on the down and hasn't put in a good performance for ages. Will have to be a serious turn of form if he wants to win this. Can see Burns getting stopped late on.

This will be the last time Burns fights at the upper echelons of the sport, I expect. I don't think Figueroa will stop Burns, but I can't see anything other than a landslide UD for Figueroa, outclassing him all the way.

Yes I agree with the above.

Pre Mitchell Ricky would have a good chance.

The 2014 Ricky Burns has no chance.

I imagine Eddy is hanging Ricky out to dry with this fight already. Paying peanuts with the promise of reward in the event of a very unlikely victory.

I'll be awake cheering the Rickster on.

Omar i think will batter and stop buns late on. Burns will show guts and resilience but take a beating.

Can only see Burns getting worn down by Figueroa and taking some punishment.

Can see him being pulled out late rounds.

I hope he's getting a very decent pay cheque for this. His career really is one whisker from being over and he has no money after the court case.
