Is Burns an over achiever or under achiever? I can never decide whether i rate him or not LOL Don't know enough about the Namibian but a tall southpaw could be tricky. I'll go with Nichola Adams SD..

Definitely a over achiever, how he is a three weight world champion is the million dollar question.

 

Fully agreed, he is not that good, and the only reason he is now the favourite to unify his division is clever matchmaking.

 

Predictions for main event?

 

2010-2012, Burns assembled enough of a resume and showed enough skill that in today's age he is certainly not close to being a "bad titlist." Awesome fight with Roman Martinez to win the strap, a nice destruction of Mitchell, and good supporting wins over Moses and Katsidis. Plenty of illegitimate "titlists" out there but he was far from one during this time, even if it's tough to look at his resume and think that the sanctioning body Gods have been on his side... 2013-2014 his career absolutely died. He was done. I know the matchmaking and the titles have lined up for him since, but nobody would have predicted he would have done as well as he has to recover from that time period... I've always been a Burns fan though. He gets a little bit too much hate.

I'm picking him to win his fight today but admittedly that's because I've only seen 40 seconds of Indongo's career. It was a great 40 seconds. While I fancy Burns very, very beatable I just can't pick him to win this outright. If it's close, and it doesn't even have to be razor close, Burns should get the decision.

I quite like him as a person though, I just think he's been lucky to have had the career he's had.

Some of the most ridicolous scorecards I've ever seen have been in Glasgow for a Burns' show.
I hope Indongo knocks him out because he damn sure can't leave it in the hands of the matchroom judges
