I really like that they matched him with someone of the quality of Byrne in his first fight. Compare that to the joke matchmaking for the debuts of Dubois, Okolie and even Katie Taylor.

 

Kelly looked superb IMO, some people won't like it but you have to have some serious self belief to pull of that type of fighting style especially on a pro debut. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

 

Man, the way the boxing promotor's operate in the UK is completely different from other countries, especially the US.

Adam Booth has the best stable in the UK right now. Way better than Coldwell and Gallagher and edges McGuigan too IMO. Just a shame he couldn't hold on to Eubank.
