Cardle was favourite, he was 1.6 and barret 3.4 at suspension on betfair. The punters obviously thought Cardle would get the decision.

 

Well apparently he looks unbelievable in the gym, they made this point on Sky commentary, they said he might be a "gym fighter".

To be fair to Cardle, you sometimes see the odd flash of real quality but it's too rare and the rest of his game looks very sloppy.

He is far too easy to hit for the style he uses and he always seems to cut so it's a recipe for disaster.

 

I like what Burns and his team did and I won't hate on the man. He could run with the belt and bum fight for the next year but he wants to unify instead. 140 will have and UNDISPUTED CHAMPION in 2017.

No other division will have that. Think about it.
Shout out to the Brits taking chances and having heavy sacks under their trunks.

 

Cradle always seems to make heavy work of his fights by getting dragged into scraps -- which isn't the way to go when you don't have the power to finish matters, and don't posses the upper body movement or head movement required to slip and counter.

Lots of British fans have hyped Cardle on the back of being a Gallagher fighter and hot on the heels of Sky covering his fights but, like yourself, I've never really understood what all the fuss was about.

So Kelly is fighting his debut at 154 but will be moving back down to 147 after this?

Yeah, but they wanted a decent opponent for his first fight and that's why they went for this.

Kelly looks like he's got all the tools. If he can make 147 fine he could be a great prospect I think.
