:-( Spearmint forgetting that undefeated John Murray was ranked #5 by the prestigious Ring Magazine when Kevin Mitchell knocked him out and not rating his beautiful performance over the Khanqueror Prescott is just wrong.

Have you interviewed Kev somewhere recently or something? Otherwise I cannot for the life of me think why you're constantly singing his praises on here.

I've forgotten more about boxing than you'll ever know, sunshine.

    Prescott is a journeyman.

He's a Hammer I believe, it was enough reason for the blue half of Manchester to support Hatton so he gets a free pass IMO.

To be honest it wasnt just the blue half, they just swallowed the tripe a litle easier :)

I think Burns will beat Mitchell fairly easily, whether the fight is in Glasgow or London. I do feel it should be in Glasgow though. Burns has proven himself at World level whilst Mitchell failed pretty miserably in his only attempt, so it's Kev who has something to prove here.

Burns needs to be careful not to overlook Moses though, as he is a very good fighter.

Burns is NOT more skilled than Kevin, that is just downright ****ing stupid.

I'd LOVE Kev to smash Ricky. 1) Because Ricky's trainer is an idiot, 2) Becauee Ricky get's waaaaaaaay too much love on here.

Kevin, on his best day, will destroy Burns.

    You watch!

Billy if you go into the training as over confident as you seem Ricky will be in trouble. Kevin has skills enough to get to Burns. He is certainly a bigger puncher than Ricky. Styles make fights and Ricky will get all he can handle from Kevin.

Depend's how militant the red's you know are I guess. I know a fair few that couldn't wait to see him get pasted about purely because he was a blue and came out to Blue Moon.

They still lined his pockets with PPV cash though, so more fool them.

It's a pick 'em fight for me. I originally thought Mitchell would win fairly comfortably but like a lot of people I was stunned by how strong Burns looked against Katsidis. Mitchell definitely has more power, however.

Burns will probably go and lose to Moses now.

Mitchell i believe is going from one extreme to another, he's gone from a aggressive banger who needed to tighten up to a guy attempting to be a pure boxer. Last night looked like a guy trying to box to perfection and waiting on landing a peach. He's a decent fighter but i'm concerned about his style right now. TFFP mentioned it last night in RBR and i totally agree with him.

Burns was a huge SFW, Burns is a huge LW!. Mitchell wasn't the biggest SFW and he's not the biggest LW. Burns is a very tough ask for the lad. Burns can easily just keep fight at range. He's found a very simple and effective formula and it damn well works for a fighter his size. He doesn't over complicate anything.

Look at it like this, Ricky looks happy as he boxes, looks natural and at ease. Does Kevin?. I don't personally see a fighter who looks naturally happy to box off back foot for 10-12 rounds. Far to much circling for my liking..

Not mission impossible but Burns would be a massive favorite for me.
