Roberts is putting in quick rights to the body and getting grabbed as Reid tosses both arms around him and pulls him in to clinches where he can hold and hit. Roberts circles to his right and pops the jab, marking up Reid's face. More clinches, initiated by Reid. Jab down the middle and a quick left hook to the body, landing with a loud slap on Reid's hip. Nice right hand to the body by Roberts, stepping into it with his lead knee bent and shoving off before Reid can clinch. High jab by Roberts caught and twisted into a hug by Reid. Pecks to the body by Reid as they cuddle up on the Rainham Steel logo. A few big rights cocked up wide and spanked into Roberts' side as the ref fails to split them.

Yeah, like I said, the only competitive undercard bout on paper is Thain vs. Noble, and that might actually be closer than the main event if your hunch (which is also mine) proves correct.

Roberts isn't doing well to avoid the tie-ups, and is getting his body worked over a bit. Reid isn't really getting much leverage on his shots but is chipping away and holding Roberts' arms pinned. Hooks to the ribs by Reid but Roberts is answering back with straights to the lungs and face. Scrappy on the inside. Roberts trying to create space with his jab.
